Designed for an older couple, this 109 m² chalet offers a comfortable setting for everyday life and visits from children and grandchildren. The brief was to create a cosy, uplifting home that would sit naturally alongside the views beyond its windows.
The design
An eclectic interior brings together Spanish influences, expressive artwork and a warm palette of natural tones. Timber, soft textiles and patterned surfaces give each room its own character, while olive green, muted blue and terracotta connect the spaces.
In the living room, a patterned tiled fireplace provides a cheerful focal point. The bedrooms take a quieter approach, pairing tactile fabrics with botanical motifs and abstract art. An arched, olive-tiled bath surround continues the Spanish influence in the bathroom.
The result is a personal, welcoming home with room for both quiet moments and family gatherings. Colour and detail bring a sense of joy indoors while keeping the surrounding landscape part of the experience.
